Josh Duhamel returns to 'All My Children's' final season

duhamel-amc.jpgYes, you read that headline correctly. As we prepare to say goodbye to " All My Children's" Pine Valley forever, one familiar face is returning. Josh Duhamel, currently riding a wave of publicity to support his upcoming film "Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon," will make one last "All My Children" appearance.

Duhamel won a Daytime Emmy Award for his work on the show in 2002 as Leo du Pres, the charming con artist who won the heart of Greenlee (Rebecca Budig). When he went over a waterfall in 2003 in an attempt to save his lady love, he was presumed dead, but his body was never found.

Surprise! He's back.

ABC confirms that Duhamel will be among many fan favorites returning to the series this August. "Everyone at 'All My Children' is thrilled and excited to welcome Josh back to Pine Valley. The appearance of Leo is sure to be one of the highlights of the season," says executive producer Julie Carruthers.

Weigh in, soap fans! What do you hope will happen when Leo returns? Will he and Greenlee reunite?

In the meantime, watch his first-ever appearance below.
