Justin Bieber defends meeting with Prime Minister, responds to Grammys snub
A picture is worth a thousand words, but Justin Bieber promises that image of him meeting the Prime Minister of Canada wearing overalls tells the wrong story. Though it looks as though he dressed down to attend a photo shoot with one of the most important people in his home country's government, it actually was the other way around.
"That was really at my event. I really promise, if I would have went to his environment, I would have been all done up," he tells Ellen DeGeneres on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show." "It looks bad, but it's not."
Fortunately, DeGeneres gave him a pair of tuxedo overalls so he'd never be in that situation again. Bieber promised to wear them the next time he meets the PM.
In addition, Bieber responded to his recent snub from the Grammys. Though he seemed a bit bummed out about the whole situation, he acted like he is trying to take the high road.
"It's definitely something that I was looking forward to," he says. "It will happen one day. I'm so young. So I'm blessed to just be able to do what I love every day. The AMAs was a lot of fun for me. Hopefully just one day."
Been wondering why Bieber keeps performing acoustic sets every time he sings at awards show? Well now you have your answer: The Canadian pop star is coming out with a new acoustic album in January.
"It's something I think the fans really like because I started out on YouTube just playing my guitar and just singing without all the production, so I like to just put out acoustic albums. I think it's more intimate," he says.
