The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department has completed their battery investigation against singer Justin Bieber, and sent the case to the District Attorney's office. Now it's up to the D.A. to decide whether or not to file charges against Bieber.
The investigation stems from an incident Bieber had with a neighbor. The neighbor alleges Bieber spit on him, cursed at him and threatened to kill him. It all started when the neighbor confronted the "All Around the World" singer about recklessly driving on neighporhood streets. Bieber's team contends the confrontation never got violent.
According to TMZ, investigators are recommending the district attorney pursue the charges against Bieber. However, a source says they don't want to jail him, but instead assign counseling. The D.A. has yet to make a decision on whether or not to file charges against the singer, who is currently finishing up his world tour in South Africa before returning for a summer packed with U.S. concerts.
