Justin Bieber gets a little too close to fans in Vanity Fair shoot

If you thought 2010 was the year of Justin Bieber, it may have just been a warm-up for the little Canadian.

Bieber goes legit -- and devastatingly classy -- in the February issue of Vanity Fair, gracing the cover and donning a few dapper outfits in the feature spread.

But the real magic of the photo shoot is sort of lost in translation. VF shipped in over a dozen, pastel-clad Biebettes to scream their brains out while the singer strikes a studious pose. The resulting image is charming, but the behind-the-scenes video (below) is hilarious.

In the story, Bieber also admits that the lady-love doesn't really surprise him. "Not trying to be arrogant," Bieber tells Vanity Fair, "but if I walked down the street and a girl saw me, she might take a look back because maybe I'm good-looking, right?"

16-year-olds... rarely humble in even the best of circumstances.
