Justin Bieber are you listening? Vanilla Ice has a few words of advice for you.

The one-hit wonder, who quickly faded away following the success of "Ice Ice Baby," sees a bit of himself in the Biebs.

"I mean, I did 'Ice Ice Baby' when I was 16. So I can kind of relate a bit," he says. "Sold over a hundred million records. And I had a weekend that lasted about three years, and I didn't know who I was, what's my purpose in life."

Though the rapper went through a lot of trials following his quick rise and fall from fame, he has found some recent success with his DIY Network home remodeling show, "The Vanilla Ice Project."

His assumption for Bieber's future? That he won't last very long.

"So my prediction about Bieber is that he's going to go through one of those weekends that lasts a few years because he's had such success as a child act," he tells the Huffington Post. "You know, then something else new will come along and he'll be forgotten and he can try to put all the pieces back together, so it's going to be entertaining to watch."

Though with several hit singles, movies, and now his own perfume can Justin Bieber really be compared to Vanilla Ice? Only time will tell.
