Justin Timberlake confirms '20/20 Experience' follow-up is happening
Justin Timberlake really is making a follow-up album for "The 20/20 Experience." During his new album's release party at the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles, Timberlake confirmed that a second record will be coming out soon.
"I need to clear up a rumor," he said, according to The Hollywood Reporter. "Those rumors are true."
The rumor in question was started by The Roots drummer and co-frontman Questlove, who worked with Timberlake for a week on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon." "Spoiler alert. 20/20 Vol 2 comes out in nov. (10 songs now.....10 songs later= 20 vision)," he wrote on the Okayplayer message boards.
Timberlake didn't confirm that "The 20/20 Experience Vol. 2" will definitely come out in November, but it does seem likely. This news will likely make those fans who waited six years for him to release new music feel very, very excited.
