He teased it, and he didn't keep us waiting long: Justin Timberlake released his newest single, "Take Back the Night," off of his upcoming studio album "The 20/20 Experience: Part 2."

Posted to YouTube on Friday (July 12) at noon ET, the new, upbeat song urges listeners to dance while an energetic horn section accompanies the lyrics for a total of a whopping six minutes. Produced by Timberlake, Timbaland, and Jerome "J-Roc" Harmon, "Take Back The Night" is being offered as a free download when you pre-order the sequel to "The 20/20 Experience."

"The 20/20 Experience: Part 2" is due out on Sept. 30, and will feature 11 tracks, as well as a "special surprise" from Timberlake. "I originally recorded a massive amount of material and decided on the 20 tracks that I wanted on the album over a year ago," Timberlake said in a statement. "But, when I was mixing and going through all of the songs there were so many that I loved -- I couldn't resist ... I had to throw in something extra on the 2nd half." If the surprise is anything like "Suit and Tie," "Mirrors," or "Take Back the Night," we're confident it's going to be great.
