Kanye West bans Kim Kardashian from Vera Wang wedding gowns

kanye-west-kim-kardashian-wedding-gown-gi.jpg Kanye West is taking his style makeover of fiancee Kim Kardashian to a new extreme -- he's actually weighing in on who can -- or can't -- design her wedding dress.

According to a report by Radar, Mr. Yeezus has banned Kim from wearing a Vera Wang gown during their forthcoming nuptials, but he's got a pretty good reason. Kim wore three separate dresses by the designer during her extravagant televised wedding to her most recent husband, Kris Humphries. And Kanye doesn't want to be the subject of comparisons.

Perhaps Kanye should have thought of that before snagging Kim's new 15-carat engagement ring from Lorraine Schwartz, the same designer who made the 20.5-carat bauble Kris gave to Kim.

Kim and Kanye were engaged on Oct. 21, and may or may not be planning an Elvis-themed wedding in Las Vegas. The couple has a daughter, North West, born June 15.

Kim's divorce from Humphries was finalized June 3, the day after her baby shower for little "Nori." Though the marriage legally lasted one year and seven months, Kim and Kris were only together in wedded bliss for 72 days.

Prior to wedding Humphries, Kim was married to music producer Damon Thomas.
