Kate Middleton checks into pre-wedding hotel, makes final appearance as a non-royal entity
Middleton will reportedly be staying in a five-room suite that just underwent a $240,000 makeover. It comes complete with a four-poster bed, a grand piano, a throne (really) and a waterproof, flat-screen TV.
"It's kind of a cross between an antique shop and you're granny's front bedroom," said ABC News contributor Duncan Larcombe. "It really doesn't do it for me."
Middleton, accompanied by her father, Michael, will leave the Goring Hotel for Westminster Abbey bright and early at 5:51 a.m.
