Kate Middleton won't let Prince William have a PlayStation 4

Prince William probably isn't going to get a PlayStation 4 for Christmas -- not if wife Kate Middleton has anything to say about it. While the Duke of Cambridge enjoyed playing a new PS4 console at a BAFTA event on Monday (Nov. 18), the new father didn't think his wife would approve.

"It's very addictive," William said after playing with a PS4 during the British Academy of Film and Television Arts "Give Something Back" campaign launch. "I'd like to get one, but I'm not sure how my wife would feel about it!"

Considering that William and Kate have four-month-old George at home -- not to mention a whole host of official duties -- there isn't much time left over for video games.

Even if he won't be playing daily, Prince William had only good things to say about the game-development industry in his country. "The U.K.'s game industry is one of the strongest in the world," the Duke said. "I know that I, for one, look forward to playing the weird and wonderful games which these young people dream up in the future."
