Kate Middleton's nose was among the most-requested body parts at Britain plastic surgery centers last year. It's quickly becoming a fad in the U.S. as well, as a 21-year-old Manhattan woman describes how stealing the Duchess' schnozz gave her photogenic confidence.
Jessica Blaier tells "Good Morning America" she now jumps into every photo opp she finds to show off her royal rhinoplasty results.
Blaier says her own God-given nose was too large and the tip didn't look right when she smiled. When Kate smiled, however, Blaier thought, "Wow! I want my nose to be like that." And so she carried a picture of Prince William's baby mama and a check for $12,000 to the plastic surgeon's office.
Dr. Thomas Romo III cites a defined tip and feminine swoop as reason's for the popularity behind Kate's appendage. "It's strong; it's a woman's nose; it's not infantile; it's not overdone" says Romo. "And I don't think Kate had a nose job. I think she was just blessed with good genes."
First her clothes, now her nose. What's the next trend in America's Kate Middleton obsession going to be? Chances are it will have something to do with a baby name, come July.
