Katherine Heigl's rep denies diva salary demands

Katherineheigl_290 Katherine Heigl's rep is speaking up after reports surfaced that his client's exorbitant salary demands cost her a role in the romantic comedy "Valentine's Day."

"The story is ludicrous," the rep tells Page Six, which had previously reported Heigl wanted $3 million for about 14 days of work. "Early negotiations are a daily occurrence in this business, and just for clarification, Katherine walked away from this project for multiple reasons."

The "Grey's Anatomy" actress was to be one of an ensemble that included big names such as Julia Roberts, Jennifer Garner, Anne Hathaway, Ashton Kutcher, Shirley MacLaine and Bradley Cooper. The Garry Marshall-directed film is slated for 2011.
