Kathy Griffin won't apologize for Anderson Cooper New Year's Eve stunt

If she had the opportunity, Kathy Griffin would try to go down on Anderson Cooper on television all over again. The comedienne repeatedly trying to kiss Cooper's crotch while they were hosting CNN's New Year's Eve coverage, and it's an antic she says she's proud of.

"If you think this is the part where I'm going to apologize for trying to go down on Anderson Cooper, you are sorely mistaken," she tells David Letterman on "Late Show with David Letterman." "I tried, ladies and gays. I tried for you."

When Letterman asks how she would respond if a man put her in the same situation on television, Griffin quips, "If it was Anderson Cooper, myself and every other gay guy and woman, I'd unzip so fast. Boom. Hands down."

Griffin echoed similar sentiments to TMZ when the site targeted her out in NYC. As she says, "I've hit on [Cooper] many times." Thank goodness this one won't be the last.
