Katy Perry dresses in drag as a game show host for Ellen DeGeneres' birthday
If a career in pop music ever doesn't work out for Katy Perry, at least she now knows that she can make a great name for herself as a game show host. The girlfriend of John Mayer stopped by "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" in honor of Ellen Degeneres' birthday, and showed up in full drag doing her best Bob Barker impression.
"I asked for the Anne Hathaway," Perry quipped in reference to her hair, and she kept the jokes coming throughout the entire act. It's clear that she was loving the chance to host a game show, no matter the fact it wasn't real, and we hope "Grab Ellen's Bust" becomes a regular part of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" -- if only to see Perry in drag more often.
In the end, it was the two contestants of "Grab Ellen's Bust" who became the real stars of the show. One nearly fainted when she hit the stage, and then nearly collapsed again when she won a free trip to Australia. Of course, everyone went home a winner, as typically happens with DeGeneres. That is the best part of her birthday, after all: She makes everyone else's dreams come true. Happy birthday, Ellen!
