Katy Perry has unveiled the cover of her next album, "Prism," and it's nice and colorful. It also feels quite a bit more grown up than the art for her previous albums, "Teenage Dream" and "One of the Boys." The art, featuring a photo by Ryan McGinley, was revealed during Katy's appearance on "Good Morning America," before she shared it on Twitter.
The reveal comes a day after Perry released the music video for "Roar," which she performed at the Video Music Awards. The video finds Katy stranded in the jungle, where her boyfriend gets eaten by a tiger. So really, she's still over the top and fun.
The next single from "Prism," a song called "Dark Horse," is set to be released September 15 after being chosen by Perry's fans. "Prism" will be in stores October 22.
