Keith Olbermann was fired from Current TV and replaced by Eliot Spitzer a year after he left MSNBC for them. But according to TMZ, he had decided to leave long before this happened.

Olbermann is reportedly filing a lawsuit against Current TV over his firing, saying in a statement, ""It goes almost without saying that the claims against me implied in Current's statement are untrue and will be proved so in the legal actions I will be filing against them presently."

The statement says, "Current was also founded on the values of respect, openness, collegiality, and loyalty to our viewers. Unfortunately these values are no longer reflected in our relationship with Keith Olbermann and we have ended it."

According to the site, sources claim that Olbermann believes Current TV to be mismanaged, down to getting office supplies. Current TV's statement about Eliot Spitzer's new appointment cited a Twitter account that doesn't belong to Spitzer.
