The pop star and "American Idol" Season 1 champ is nearing her wedding, as it's been reported that she and fiance Brandon Blackstock obtained a marriage license on Tuesday (Oct. 15).

E! News reports that the couple appeared in person to secure the important document, signing their full names, Kelly Brielle Clarkson and Narvel Brandon Blackstock. The license, which also lists their parents' names, is good for 30 days from the date of issue, meaning wedding bells will be ringing quite soon.

However, the big day won't be a big to-do, as Clarkson recently revealed during an appearance on "Good Morning America." "We'll still have a wedding, but yeah, we're doing it real small in Tennessee," she admitted.
