Not only was Kerry Washington in a singing group in high school, but it was the same one Gwyneth Paltrow was in. Washing revealed that interesting little bit of information during a Thursday night (July 31) appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live."

"It was a nine-girl a capella singing group, we called ourselves Triple Trio," she shares. "When I was in junior high school I wanted to be in Triple Trio because there was this really amazing singer named Gwyneth Paltrow."

Like Paltrow, Washington wanted to be president of the group one day. She eventually shared the duties with another member, but due to their age difference she never got to share the stage with Paltrow.

Washington did definitely hire herself and the group to sing to her own boyfriend, though. That didn't go over well.
