Kevin McHale could host 'X-Factor,' 'New Girl' casts future Nick and more casting news
According to TV Guide, the new role wouldn't affect his day job on "Glee." Rather, he'd likely be one half of a male-female team. Other potential hosts include Khloe Kardashian, Erin Andrews and Kelly Osbourne. McHale has worked with the show and its personalities before: He co-hosted the Teen Choice Awards alongside "X Factor" judge Demi Lovato, and he hosted a behind-the-scenes featurette during the show's Season 1 premiere.
Look for producer Simon Cowell to make an official announcement in the coming weeks.
