'Kick-Ass 2': First clip shows a vulgar Hit-Girl plus a heroes and villains showdown

The first clip has been released from "Kick-Ass 2," and it's pretty chaotic. As the clip begins, it looks like Kick-Ass ( Aaron Taylor-Johnson) and Hit-Girl ( Chloe Grace Moretz) are in trouble as they face down The Motherf*****'s ( Christopher Mintz-Plasse) army of villains. Before long though, the good guys introduce some friends of their own, a large team of makeshift superheroes.

What follows is an epic battle between good and evil, along with a few vulgar one-lingers from Hit-Girl. As the heroes run into battle, Plasse's character retreats. There's plenty of enemies to go around, though. The clip ends with Hit-Girl facing off against Mother Russia ( Olga Kurkulina).

So far, two trailers have been released for the movie. The first, a red band trailer, featured Kick-Ass and Hit-Girl joining up with a new group of heroes. That was followed by an international trailer, which focused on Hit-Girl's journey since the first movie. "Kick-Ass 2" also features Jim Carrey, Donald Faison, Clark Duke and Lyndsy Fonseca. It fights its way into theaters August 16.

Check out the clip below, but be warned that it contains foul language and violence:
