Wednesday brings the first look at "Kick-Ass 2," the sequel to the 2010 movie about a high school kid who dresses up like a superhero and fights crime. A new red band trailer lets fans of the first movie know what to expect, in the most vulgar of ways.
"Kick-Ass 2" finds the surviving heroes from the first film teaming up with new masked vigilantes, fighting a genuine supervillain. For the first time, Kick-Ass ( Aaron Johnson) is seriously training for the job, along with the foul-mouthed Hit-Girl ( Chloë Grace Moretz). They're joined by a group of new heroes, including Jim Carrey as Colonel Stars and Stripes, and Donald Faison as Doctor Gravity.
The bad guy in the movie is no stranger. Red Mist ( Christopher Mintz-Plasse), the half friend/half enemy of Kick-Ass, has rechristened himself The Mother F***er, following the death of his father in the first movie. Again, the trailer below is filled with vulgarity, and is definitely not work safe, so watch at your own risk.
"Kick-Ass 2" will be in theaters in August.
