A new international trailer has been released for the upcoming "Kick-Ass 2." It's quite a bit more tame than the recent red band trailer, and focuses on one character in particular. Hit-Girl, played by Chloe Grace Moretz, is the star of the clip, that shows what high school is like for the child vigilante.
At 15 years old, Hit-Girl is tougher than just about anyone on the planet, and doesn't hesitate to use the skills she's learned to further herself in school. In addition to taking on bad guys of all sizes, she's able to use her fighting training to excel in cheerleader tryouts. And, of course, she does it all with a foul mouth.
"Kick-Ass 2" finds Hit-Girl and Kick-Ass ( Aaron Johnson) joining forces with a group of people dressed as vigilantes, including Jim Carrey as Colonel Stars and Stripes. They team up to fight a returning Christopher Mintz-Plasse, who has dropped his identity as Red Mist to become The Motherf***er. It will be in theaters this August.
