Pop singer and actor, Justin Timberlake, won a Kids' Choice Award Saturday (April 2) not for his burping skills (which he has one twice already), but for his charitable work with "The Big Help Award."
Timberlake runs an annual professional golf tournament that benefits The Shriners Hospitals for Children, a group of 22 hospitals across the country dedicated to helping sick children regardless of their family's ability to pay.
Timberlake took the stage and encouraged the kids to stand up and yell if they've ever done anything to help anyone, even their sister, which he promptly followed by an "Ewwwwww."
"Did I ever tell you guys you're a good-looking crowd?" he says. "Well, as good-looking as you all are, your heart is the most beautiful part. So, never forget to use it, OK?"
So, that was his gift of wisdom to the kids, but what did he do for their parents?
"Way back when I was a kid, my parents taught me it's better to give than receive," he says. "So tonight, kids, when you get home, do something totally unexpected: Listen to your parents."
And we're sure moms and dads gave him their own "Big Help" award after saying that.
