With the name being official, it didn't take long for the internet to poke fun as Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's baby, North West. Almost instantly Twitter was flooded with messages about the baby, some funny, others not so much.

While many of the jokes boiled down to pictures of compasses with arrows pointing toward the northwest, a few comedians were able to raise the quality. Rob Delaney kept it simple, writing, "Sad that North West will never fly Southwest." Kumail Nanjiani went a different route entirely with his tweet. "'Oooh look, north west is trending. Awesome.' - someone in Portland who doesn't follow pop culture news." Will Kirby, a former "Big Brother" contestant, even got in on the action with "Kim Kardashian & Kanye's baby arrived 5 weeks early & they called her North West. My luggage arrived 5 weeks late & I called South West."

Another aspect of the jokes comes in the form of parody Twitter accounts, attributed to North. One of them has already amassed over 32,000 followers, tweeting messages like "I'm not an airline. I'm a person" and "You may laugh at my name, but I laugh at your bank balance."

Parody or not, that's a true statement. As silly as North West may be, which is debatable in the grand scheme of celebrity baby names, she's going to live like a queen.
