Maybe Kim Kardashian's 72-day marriage to Kris Humphries wasn't staged after all. Or at least her ex-publicist isn't allowed to say it was.

The reality starlet settled her lawsuit against Jonathan Jaxson on Feb. 21. This suit comes as a result of Jaxson's Nov. 2011 radio interview in which he says much of Kardashian's life is designed just for the cameras.

At the time, Jaxson says of Kardashian's marriage to Humphries, "She would never make such a move...[of] getting proposed or engaged...if she wasn't serious in love...To say they weren't paid is a bunch of foolish garbage."

But Jaxson has since changed his story. In a statement he says, "I wanted to apologize publicly to Kim Kardashian for any confusion that I may have caused by the personal statements I made recently regarding Kim Kardashian...I would like to further clarify that I did not have any firsthand knowledge of Kim's relationship with Kris."

The apology continues, "Any statement I made regarding Kim and her marriage was my opinion only, and was not intended to imply firsthand knowledge of Kim's thoughts and feelings."

So Zappers, do you believe him?
