Kim Kardashian talks possible summer wedding, taking Kanye West's last name on 'Tonight Show'

Could a summer wedding abroad be in the cards for Kim Kardashian and Kanye West?

According to the reality starlet, it's quite possible. Sitting down with Jay Leno on "The Tonight Show" on Wednesday (Oct. 30) for her first televised interview since accepting West's marriage proposal the week prior, Kardashian opened up about the couple's early thoughts on thier big day.

"I think we're hoping for next summer," she revealed after Leno asked if they'd even begun to think about a date, echoing comments West made on Monday. "We're a little busy. I don't even thin we've had the right time to sit down and talk about it." Kardashian added that once West's current "Yeezus" tour wrapped, the two would really get down to business.

As for who'll take charge planning and where the nuptials may occur, the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star said that her fianc é may take lead. "He definitely knows what he wants and I want him to have whatever he wants. I mean, I'm definitely gonna be involved, but...," she said, later adding, "I think somewhere 'destinational.' I'm feeling ... somewhere Parisian ... Maybe I'll pick the place and then he can plan it. We'll compromise."

The big question, however, is whether Kardashian will change the name that's made her so famous. As she'd earlier revealed on her birthday party's red carpert, it'll be another compromise there as well.

"I'm definitely gonna have Kim, probably Kardashian as my middle name, and then West," she admitted. "But my daughter has the last name West and we're a family, so I want it to definitely be West."
