Kirk Cameron gets Funny or Die treatment from former child actors
Courtesy of Funny or Die?, former child stars -- including Keith Coogan ("Adventures in Babysitting"), Kenn Michael ("The Parent 'Hood"), Brice Beckham ("Mr. Belvedere"), Josie Davis ("Charles in Charge") and Christin Lakin ("Step by Step") joined forces as CCOKC -- "Child Celebrities Oopposing Kirk Cameron." Sure, it may be a month or so too late, but the effort is still appreciated.
And CCOKC makes a good point:
"We've met Kirk and he's a very pleasant guy," they say. "But the problem is he's one of us and he should know better. As child actors, we grew up around gay people. They were our wardrobe stylists, our hair stylists -- I'm sure they did other things, too, but mostly they wre stylists."
It continues: "Kirk, like all of us, lived and worked in the presence of homosexuals for years and I would challenge him to name one thing they did to injure him, his community or civilization as a whole."
Your move, Seaver.
