Kris Jenner: 'I instinctively knew...O.J. had something to do with [Nicole's] death'

kris-jenner-gi.jpgWhen Kardashian family overlord Kris Jenner joins " Today" on Wednesday (Nov. 2) she'll  have a lot to talk about. It's certain she'll discuss that daughter Kim Kardashian's 72-day "marriage" to NBAer Kris Humphries is ending in divorce. But what's more interesting are her thoughts on the O.J. Simpson trial, which she discusses in her new book.

Jenner, who was once married to O.J. Simpson's defense attorney Robert Kardashian, explains that Nicole Simpson was having a difficult time with football star's rumored extra-marital trysts as well as alleged abuse. Nicole presciently told Kris that "He's [O.J.] going to kill me, and he's going to get away with it."

Jenner also expressed regret about the meeting that never was. Nicole Simpson wanted to get together with Kris to talk in June 1994, but she was unable to. Later that evening Nicole was murdered. Jenner says it was "a decision that would haunt me forever."

In the book, Jenner also writes, "I instinctively knew...O.J. had something to do with [Nicole's] death" and goes into extensive behind-the-scenes details including conversations with her late husband.

Jenner will no doubt also have to answer many questions regarding the quickie marriage her daughter just left. How deep NBC will delve into this matter, given their cozy relationship with Jenner (who has guest-hosted the show) and the fact that " Keeping up with the Kardashians" airs on NBC's sister channel E!, well that's anyone's guess.

We'll have a recap for you tomorrow.
