Kris Jenner's daytime talk show could air as early as summer

kris-jenner-gi.jpgIn another sign this is a Kardashian world and we're all just lucky to live in it, Kris Jenner is in talks to host her own daytime talk show.

According to Deadline, the Kardashian family matriarch's discussions with Twentieth Television involve a potential test run on Fox TV Stations as soon as summer. Previous Twentieth test runs for Wendy Williams and Bethenny Frankel successfully led to full blown shows.

Jenner's recent hosting experience includes guest hosting CBS' "The Talk" and the fourth hour of NBC's "Today." Just think of the various topics she's already prepared to tackle as mom to Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian: "How to get famous by releasing a sex tape!" "How to file for a quickie divorce!" "How to turn a complete lack of talent into a high-rated cable TV reality series!"

If she passes her test, Jenner would enter a crowded daytime field full of competitors vying to fill the void left by the departure of Oprah Winfrey. So far, none of them -- including Katie Couric, Jeff Probst, Ricki Lake and Steve Harvey -- have achieved breakout status. Queen Latifah is also expected to enter the fray in fall 2013.
