Kristen Stewart is just as excited for 'The Hunger Games' as you are
Even stars like Kristen Stewart, who know a thing or two about headlining a major YA novel-turned-movie series (ahem, "Twilight"), are psyched for the March 23 release of "The Hunger Games."
The actress, whose "Snow White and the Huntsman" opens June 1, appeared on the "Today" show March 19 to talk about the new flick with costar Charlize Theron, where she admitted to Matt Lauer that she's looking forward to seeing "The Hunger Games."
"I can't wait to see the movie," she tells Lauer, after expressing her admiration for stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth.
"It gets very crazy and everyone instantly, the question is 'Are you going to be able to handle it? Is this something you want?' But you look at those actors and you kind of can tell why they're doing what they're doing, and it's so obvious that no one signed on to the project to do the next big thing," she says. "And I think that's the coolest way to see something get big and, you know, hopefully would love them to be happy in doing what they're doing."
