kristin-chenoweth-good-wife.jpgWe were thrilled to hear that pint-sized beauty Kristin Chenoweth had booked a major recurring arc on "The Good Wife," but all those good vibes came crashing down when Chenoweth was injured on set, forcing her to leave the show. On Friday, Chenoweth finally emerged after staying quiet as she recovered from the blow.

"I wear my neck brace on and off," she said during an appearance on "Live With Kelly and Michael," explaining that a "big lighting thing" fell on her, knocking her unconscious. "[It] knocked my face and slammed me into the ground. The back of my head got hit on the curb," she revealed.

Chenoweth suffered a 5.5-inch skull fracture and is still dealing with "issues" with her ribs, hip, and neck. She's in physical therapy and is beginning to step out on the town in an official capacity, appearing on "Live" as well as a handful of Fashion Week events in NYC.

In a touching reveal, Chenoweth says that when she woke up at Bellevue Hospital, "The Good Wife" leading man Josh Charles was at her side. "He was holding my hand. He's my angel," she says.

Swoon!

Reps at CBS reveal hopes that Chenoweth, who still appears in "The Good Wife" premiere, will return to the show to finish what she started once she's fully recovered from the harrowing accident.
