Kylie Minogue reunites with sister Dannii Minogue on 'X Factor' in Australia
Singing sisters Kylie and Dannii Minogue haven't appeared together on TV in Australia since they were teenagers, but the two reunited recently for an episode of the Australian "X Factor," when Kylie was the guest mentor for her sister's team of singers, which they say was just amazing.
"It was funny for us to feel the electricity in the room when we were together with the contestants," Dannii tells Australia's Who Magazine. "We hung out in each other's rooms and had dress-ups and sing-offs while doing hair and make up."
"[We're] best friends and confidantes," adds Kylie. "Even if we don't see each other as much as we would like to, that bond is always there. ... We don't take this for granted and family gives us the security and confidence to live our lives and do what we do."
"There is the deepest trust between us," says Dannii. "There is nothing like the security of knowing there is always someone there for you, and as Kylie said, we never take that for granted."
As for a sisterly collaboration, Kylie says that's "always on the horizon," and Dannii adds that they have a special duet on "This Is It: The Very Best Of" album, where they sing ABBA's "The Winner Takes It All."
As for Kylie's advice to Dannii's "X Factor" contestants, Kylie says she told them "to make the most of this opportunity and enjoy the experience."
