Prom is about to get a whole lot cooler for the students at Henryville (IN) Junior-Senior High School. Country stars Lady Antebellum are set to play the affair.

The school won the party with the Grammy winners as part of Antebellum's "Own the Night" contest. This is probably some of the best news the school, and for that matter the community, has received since it was devastated by tornadoes earlier in the year. Following what is being called a "mini-prom," the band will then play a benefit concert for the southern Indiana town.

"With everything that's happened - the tornado and the destruction - now we'll have something else to remember for the rest of our lives," Henryville student Kaitlyn Maloney tells the Associated Press. "This will give us something to remember that's happy."

Band member Charles Kelley says the affair will hopefully lift some spirits in the tornado-ravaged community.

"We want to just go there and hopefully bring a little joy, meet them, shake their hands, encourage them to try to get through it as best as they can," he says.
