Lady Gaga performs with Maria Aragon on 'Born This Way' in Toronto
Maria Aragon is a 10-year-old YouTube sensation whose video of her singing "Born This Way" went viral, so it was seen by millions - including Lady Gaga herself, who tweeted a link to the video with "Can't stop crying watching this. This is why I make music. She is the future."
Gaga contacted Aragon, who lives in Canada, and on Gaga's swing through Toronto, invited Maria to perform with her onstage. Gaga tells the crowd, "I'm really excited Maria is here today because Maria represents what this song is all about. It's all about the next generation and the future and no more divisiveness."
After it was over, Maria says to the crowd, "I just wanted to say I'm really grateful for all of you. i just want to thank all of you for all your support. I want to shout out to all my friends back in Winnipeg, and my family, and all you guys, thank you so much."
Awww. Well done, little girl! And Lady Gaga, for including her. Gaga also tweeted the picture below after the concert, saying, " Myself +10 year Old Lady Maria of Winnipeg. She signed my t-shirt, she ate my heart, just like you ▽"
