Lady Gaga sends gifts to school shooting victim Daniel Borowy
Lady Gaga has made one teenager very, very happy. After Daniel Borowy was shot on the first day of school at Perry Hall High School, those close to him started a campaign to convince the Mother Monster to come visit the injured student.
She couldn't come to him, but Gaga is having Borowy come to her. Lady Gaga sent him gifts including two front row tickets to one of her concerts in Baltimore, MD. as part of a get-well package. Over 33,000 people were part of the Facebook campaign to get Gaga's attention, and Borowy's father wrote a thank you letter to them and to the pop star for making his son's wish come true.
"I would like to start by thanking everyone for their thoughts and prayers for Daniel," he wrote on the "Lady Gaga Please Visit Daniel" Facebook page. "I was waiting for an appropriate time to share this information and feel that maybe we need some good news! With that said I would like to share that he has received a package from Lady Gaga."
He continued, "It is pretty cool that someone in her position took the time to make a complete stranger happy.. The package included T shirts, cd's, a persoanlly autographed message to Danny, a picture and 2 tickets to her upcoming concert.. ( I believe they are front row) To see the smile on his face is overwhelming.. Thank you Lady Gaga and thank you to everyone who had a hand in making this happen!!"
