Lady Gaga's raw fashion statement: A bloody meat dress
She's posed naked, covered in slices of raw meat in the September issue of Vogue Hommes Japan. She matched her lipstick to the bloody creation and topped off the main course with a side of sirloin worn as a hat.
Naturally, those "meat is murder" folks at PETA are a bit bent out of shape about this. Although we're not sure why because this photo certainly doesn't promote the eating of meat. In fact, it's quite turned us off steak tartare.
"Oh, Lady Gaga's job is to do outlandish things, and this certainly qualifies as outlandish because meat is something you want to avoid putting on or in your body," PETA's President, Ingrid Newkirk, tells the Daily News. But in truth, like most of Lady Gaga's antics, wearing meat to get noticed is not a new idea.
