Lady Gaga's 'The Edge of Glory' drops online. Is it glorious?
We can hear "The Edge of Glory" being played at countless proms and graduation parties in the coming weeks, even if that's not the strictest interpretation of the lyrics. Gaga herself has said she was moved to write the song after her grandfather died last year, and that it's about "the moment before you leave earth."
However you choose to read the lyrics, though, "The Edge of Glory" is the type of sing-at-the-top-of-your-lungs song that can become ubiquitous as the weather heats up.
Take a listen to the song -- which features a sax solo from the E Street Band's Clarence Clemons -- below. What do you think of it?
