Larry Flynt offers Casey Anthony Hustler spread for $500k
During a Thursday, July 28 interview on HLN's "Nancy Grace," Flynt told guest host Jean Casarez that he's offered the 25-year old Anthony a lucrative deal to pose for the magazine. According to Flynt, Anthony would receive $500,000 plus 10 percent of the profits if she goes in the buff for Hustler. This is despite the fact that Flynt thinks "she might have been responsible for the death of her child."
"I've never been one to shy away from controversy," Flynt says. He went on to say that sales for a Casey Anthony issue of his magazine could be huge and she could "make millions."
Flynt says that while on his recent book tour, many fans came up to him and asked, "Why haven't you made an offer to Casey Anthony? ... She's a really attractive person ... A great hairstylist and make-up artist could have her looking really fabulous." This prompted him to extend the offer.
Anthony's representatives tell CNN that Flynt's assertion was "nonsense." Requests to Anthony's attorney Jose Baez seeking further explanation of the apparent contradiction have not been returned.
On July 5, Anthony was acquitted on manslaughter and murder charges for the 2008 death of her daughter Caylee. She was convicted on four charges of lying to police, but was released from jail July 17 with time served.
The high-profile case transfixed the nation and outraged many when Anthony was acquitted on the most severe of the charges.
