'Law & Order: LA' hemorrhages cast, 'Big Bang Theory' renewed for three more years

NBC confirms that three of the main players over on "Law & Order: Los Angeles" are officially out of the picture. Skeet Ulrich, Regina Hall and Megan Boone are all off the show in an apparent effort to retool the series and focus more on Alfred Molina and Terrence Howard's characters. [ TV Squad]

"The Big Bang Theory" made the move to Thursdays without a hitch this season, and CBS is rewarding the show big-time. The network has picked up the series for not one, not two, but three more seasons, ensuring it will run through the 2013-14 season. [ CBS]

"Mad TV" veteran Michael McDonald just landed a recurring role on "Cougar Town," a series which he now directs. McDonald will play the snobby owner of a wine bar, which poses a threat to Greyson's dive. [ TVLine]

Just after FOX confirmed that the series based on the graphic novel "Locke & Key" wouldn't be a possibility until the fall, they finally land a lead for the pilot. Nick Stahl has been cast as Duncan Locke, a character whose drawing Stahl eerily resembles... [ Deadline]

After getting the axe at History Channel, and reportedly finding no love on Starz or FX, the ill-fated "Kennedys" miniseries may have lost its last chance at an American broadcast with Showtime. The network passed on project. [ The Wrap]
