Lea Michele admits Sarah Hyland 'hurt my feelings'
"It was all fun and games," she told Giuliana Rancic. "I did not mean any harm. When Joan Rivers asks you what she looks like on the carpet, you do it."
Michele, however, doesn't think it was a barrel of laughs. "I gotta be honest. It hurt my feelings a little bit," the newly single Michele told Us at Variety's Power of Women party. "I really think the message of today is that women should motivate and empower women, and so that's why I'm honored to be a part of today."
Hyland tweeted, "Congrats Lea. U know how to work the red carpet. I can't take it as seriously as you. That's all I wanted to show on FP. It's strange to me."
Despite hurt feelings, there's no bad blood between the women. "I send her love. I think she's a great person," Michele says.
Completely sincerely, we're sure.
