Lea Michele: 'Glee' will be like 'Friends' after 100th episode
Michele was mostly there to talk about her new album, "Louder" -- which just reached No. 1 on the charts as of Thursday (March 6). But of course she had to talk about "Glee" and the show's upcoming changes as well.
The move is coming after the 100th episode and will not include a focus on McKinley High School anymore. Instead, according to Michele, "It's only like five or six cast members now in the city." When asked about the new vibe, the singer and actress replied, "It's kind of like 'Friends' ... We get to do a lot of scenes eating, in the apartment, on the couch."
Naturally, there will still be singing in "Glee." Rachel's role in "Funny Girl," for one, will keep the music going.
But will "Glee" keep going when uprooted from Ohio in this way? Fans will find out soon enough. "Glee" airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on FOX.
