After the sudden death of "Glee" star Cory Monteith on July 13, his girlfriend and co-star Lea Michele released a statement saying she was privately mourning the loss, also taking an absence from Twitter. That came to an end Monday (July 29) when Michele sent her first tweet since prior to Monteith's death.

"Thank you all for helping me through this time with your enormous love & support," she writes, "Cory will forever be in my heart." She also attached a photo her herself and Monteith. In an interview before his death, Lea described Cory as, "the best person I know, he has made my life so incredible, and I am so thankful for him and not only to have him as a partner but also as a co-worker."

Monteith's cause of death was found to be a lethal combination of heroin and alcohol. He had completely a stay in rehab in April, after making the decision to admit himself. Monteith was 31 years old.
