LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian's new TV show lands at VH1
Prepare to get a weekly dose of LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian. The controversial couple finally found a home for its new reality TV series, working title "LeAnn & Eddie."
VH1 plans to premiere the series in Fall 2013/Winter 2014, Us Weekly reports. The initial series order is six half-hour episodes.
"We are really excited to be working together on a unique show that will give you a glimpse into who we really are or better yet who we're really not," Cibrian and Rimes, who are acting as executive producers, say in a statement. "We're thrilled to partner with Vh1 and The Gurneys [of Gurney Productions] to put our spin on a project full of love, humor and music."
The series will reportedly be about the couple's "normal modern family" life, which means we'll get to see plenty of Cibrian and Rimes "balancing career and co-parenting" with Brandi Glanville. Fingers crossed Cibrian's ex will also make an appearance on the show and bring her real-life feud with Rimes to the small screen.
VH1 President Tom Calderone says, "LeAnn and Eddie are both talented entertainers who have really captured the public's imagination in the last couple of years, but there is so much more to them than what you read in the tabloids. This is going to be a really fun show in which we hope to reveal what their lives are really like - from the normalcy of their home life, to what drives them artistically, to the chaos of their celebrity life."
