On Tuesday (Nov. 19), Star was first to report that Brody popped the question after 10 months of dating and, while, as of press time, the couple hasn't released a statement regarding the surprising news, several other news outlets have received anonymous confirmation.

The engagement is exciting not only because the couple do seem rather adorable together in pictures, but also because who doesn't want to imagine a wedding between their alter egos, Upper East Side ice queen Blair Waldorf and adorable Newport nerd Seth Cohen? (Set aside the fact that both characters wound up married at the end of their respective series. This is pretend, after all.)

First off, the location of the ceremony. Blair would likely fight for an East Coast affair, perhaps on the steps of the Constance Billard School for Girls, which she once ruled with an iron fist, while Seth, true to his seaside roots, would probably prefer a low-key beach wedding. In the end, we imagine Blair would take this round and the Cohens would be schlepping to NYC to see their son tie the knot. At least Sandy could get a proper bagel and schemer.

The best man would obviously be Seth's BFF, Kid Chino himself, Ryan Atwood, while Blair's maid of honor would probably be Serena van deer Woodsen, so long as the two weren't in a frenemie phase. Walking the bride down the aisle is definitely step-dad Cyrus Rose.

wedding-party-fox-cw.jpgAs for the ceremony itself, the processional would be Wagner's traditional "Bridal Chorus," but with music being so important to Seth, he'd want control over the recessional. And he'd turn to his beloved Death Cab for Cutie, without a doubt. "The Sound of Settling" off their Seth Cohen-approved fourth album, "Transatlanticism" (which was even included in the "Seth Cohen Starter Park" he once gave to Summer Roberts), would likely be his choice, despite the seemingly un-romantic title.

Lastly, there's the matter of who would act as officiant over the wedding of our teen TV dreams. And, truthfully, there's only one man for the job: Josh Schwartz. As the man responsible for bringing both characters to TV, he's the final piece of this puzzle. In fact, if he doesn't preside over the real-life nuptials of Meester and Brody, we're calling foul.
