Liam Hemsworth: Jennifer Lawrence kiss and being a 'devil child' on 'Live with Kelly and Michael'

When Liam Hemsworth kissed Jennifer Lawrence in "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire," it wasn't exactly a romantic experience for the actors. But it did sound kind of amusing. The man behind Gale talked about this and about his Australian childhood on "Live with Kelly and Michael" on Wednesday (Nov. 20).

Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan pretty much had to ask Hemsworth about kissing his co-star after Josh Hutcherson described his own "Catching Fire" kiss as "sloppy" the day before. Hemsworth had a slightly different experience: "I don't think it was as sloppy as his kiss," the actor revealed. "I think she burped and said something like 'I just had garlic.'"

Hemsworth wasn't implying that Jennifer Lawrence has garlic breath though. "Whether she did or not, that's just the kind of thing she says," he added.

Elsewhere in the interview, the "Live" hosts got Hemsworth talking about his childhood. Not only was his mother his sex-ed teacher in school ("I just put my head down most of the time"), but Liam was also the official bad boy of the family in his early years. "I was considered the devil child of the family," he said. "My uncles used to call me triple-6. They said they tried to exorcise me at one point."

Current family dynamics seem a little more lighthearted. When asked about his brother, Chris Hemsworth, Liam noted that the "Thor" actor had recently lost weight for a new role. "He's just like a little, fragile child," Hemsworth joked.
