Lindsay Lohan $5 million lawsuit delayed while she is in rehab
Lindsay Lohan is trying to get her life back on track, and company D.N.A.M. Apparel Industries is doing its best to help her out. Though the organization sued Lohan for $5 million in May, it's holding off on its lawsuit while the troubled celebrity serves her rehab sentence.
TMZ reports that new court documents show that D.N.A.M. won't actually serve Lohan until she leaves rehab in mid-August. The legal process of the lawsuit can't officially begin until that event takes place.
Lohan has had a back and forth with D.N.A.M. over the past half a year. Initially she sued the clothing company back in January for $1.1 million after claiming it didn't pay her the money she was owed for her 6126 line she created back in 2009. D.N.A.M. later came back at her with the $5 million lawsuit claiming her 'drug-addled image' caused people not to buy the clothes, thus costing them millions.
