Lindsay Lohan avoids jail with 90 days in rehab: Watch her tell her lawyer 'I'm going to kill you'

lindsay-lohan-mark-heller-court-rehab-jail.jpg Lindsay Lohan showed up for court in Los Angeles 48 minutes late today, but the judge still didn't throw the book at her. (Bystanders who watched her walk into the courthouse did throw gold glitter at her, though.)

Before going to trial for violating her probation and lying to police officers about her involvement in a car accident last summer, Lohan struck a plea bargain with prosecutors. Instead of the potential months of jail time that she faced, Lohan has been sentenced to 90 days in a locked rehab facility. She won't be able to leave with a permission slip or for work-related purposes.

Additionally, Lohan must perform 30 days of community labor and undergo psychotherapy for 18 months. She's allowed to do both the rehab and the community labor in New York, and if she abides by all laws, she'll ultimately be able to have her record expunged. However, if she doesn't abide by all laws, she faces 180 days in prison for the jewelry heist case.

At one point during the hearing, Lohan's lawyer was asking too many questions of the judge, and Lohan -- who had been on a plane all night -- was sick of it. " Don't say anything else," she said. "I really want to just go." But when he asked for another clarification from the judge, she muttered, "Oh my god. I'm going to kill you." Watch the video below.
