Lindsay Lohan hospitalized after car crash: Actress heads to the emergency room
Lindsay Lohan is in the emergency room at a Los Angeles hospital following a car wreck that totaled her car.
According to reports, Lohan -- who is currently filming Lifetime's Elizabeth Taylor biopic "Liz & Dick" -- was driving her black Porsche on the highway when she collided with an 18-wheeler truck.
In the accident, the passenger window of the car was shattered, and the bumper entirely ripped off. An ambulance was called to the scene, but Lohan did not travel by ambulance to the hospital.
Doctors are currently performing tests, and while Lohan's condition is unknown, TMZ reports that she "seems okay." No word yet on what caused the accident.
This girl just can't catch a break.
UPDATE: Lohan was driving the Porsche but says that she's not at fault -- the truck cut her off. Her assistant was in the car with her. Both Lohan and the assistant were reportedly bruised and bleeding. The assistant was transported to the hospital by ambulance.
