Lindsay Lohan probation revoked: Is she heading back to prison?
It looks like Lindsay Lohan is likely going to heading back behind bars. Commissioner Jane Godfrey has revoked Lohan's probation from her jewelry heist case in response to the fact that the 26-year-old actress lied to police officers following her June car accident.
A new court date has been set for Jan. 15, and that will determine whether or not Lohan is in fact going to be sent to prison. It's been reported that Godfrey is not a big fan of jail, but considering the fact she did determine Lohan had violated her probation, it's not looking good for the troubled starlet. She could be incarcerated for up to 245 days.
Under the terms of her 2011 informal probation, all Lohan had to do to not violate it was uphold the laws until May 2014. That proved too difficult for her, as she recently assaulted a woman in NYC, had the IRS seize her bank accounts for her outstanding tax debt and, of course, lied to police officers. The Santa Monica City attorney formally filed three criminal complaints against Lohan for that incident.
