Lindsay Lohan working on plea deal to stay out of jail, reportedly smelled of alcohol at accident scene
TMZ also reports that law enforcement sources say a bottle of alcohol was found next to Lindsay's Porsche at the scene of the accident and that her breath reportedly smelled of alcohol. But the police did not perform a field sobriety test at the scene.
The plea deal the prosecutors are working on is offering Lilo 60 days in a residential rehab facility for allegedly lying to the cops, which is four months less than the original offer. The deal would also involve AA meetings and community service.
Meanwhile, Lohan's lawyer reportedly maintains that the case should be dismissed because Lohan wasn't properly Mirandized at the scene.
The plea bargain meeting is happening Wednesday (Feb. 27), so we'll keep you posted on whether an agreement is reached.
